Head of Fraud

We require the following from the candidates:

To lead the team responsible for all aspects of fraud prevention

Ensuring the provision of appropriate real time transaction monitoring for all customers in the business lifecycle

Design, implement and maintain appropriate systems and rules to ensure an effective fraud prevention process

Ensure policies and procedures capture all relevant regulatory requirements and are up to date

Ensure alerts are cleared on a timely basis

Ensure the Fraud team is conducting in-depth analysis and investigation of all Fraud system-generated alerts on a business as usual basis and has knowledge of documenting and reporting Fraud

Ensure smooth implementation of new automated Fraud transaction monitoring systems and processes

Ensure policies and procedures are properly embedded

Ensure the Fraud team conducts analysis and processes dispute claims in accordance with procedures and internal SLA timeframes

Ensure the fraud requests are processed in accordance with the established procedure

Lead the team, ensuring that they are motivated, trained, capable and competent.

Responsibilities and duties:

Proven experience in Fraud prevention within a banking environment

Significant financial crime experience

Strong familiarity and knowledge of industry best practice in fraud prevention

Strong reporting skills

Strong team management skills

Good knowledge of the UK financial crime regulatory framework

Experience of leading and managing teams in the UK financial services sector

Knowledge of Visa/MasterCard Operating Regulations

Experience of working with Senior Management
